KiRuNa trip

Everyone was so stressed jus b4 our trip to kiruna.. everyone was rushing to finish their pharm care essay! But thanks goodness that ailian was able to finish her report.. but too sad for shinjeng who was not able to finish hers, n thus she had to stay back here in glasgow. Jus the day b4 departure, we went to change currency... c the money i have --->

Day of departure -- 21st feb 6.30pm flight.. when we arrived there in Stavska airport, we need to migrate to another airport- Arlanda international airport, to wait for departure to kiruna on the next day..

When we arrived there in Arlanda, we had spent almost 260SEK, jus for bus n train.. oh, n we saw something familiar.. the thing behind, all the small houses.. yea, saw this from unpredictable's pic b4, i guess.. seems familiar, thus let's say cheeez n take pics together!

The airport -- everything is self service.. i was so gonna check in my big luggage -- Miss NenoLee ...

Was so cold n snowing outside in Arlanda airport @ Stockholm + preparing to go to kiruna... everyone wore so many layers of clothes, so do i.. c, i m so fat!!! gek ar... munkey is stil so thin!!!

The snow..... n me! The prawn said that i m like frog!! sob sob..

Yea.. finally arrive in kiruna! So nice la.. weather was good.. clear... n the snow.. i luv it to the max!!! snowy white... soft.. smooth.. crystal-like.. shiny snow! n it's deep..

Joined the Dog Sledge tour on the night we arrived in kiruna! Luckily it was a clear night! n we were able to c northern light!! We were so lucky!! Thank god! btw, the weather on the following day was not good n was too cloudy, no northern light seen!! me n neno wif the husky dogs! i like the white colour one but not this, but the tour guide asked us to take pic wif the leader instead of other dogs.. It was super cold.. is really unbelievable that i was in a jungle at -37degree celcius. Can't really believe that i ever experience such extreme weather! Dog sledge.. was quite fun though! but it was freezing cold.. my eye lashes were all frozen too...

Dinner time -- got some "fund" to have free pizzas for our dinner/supper! 4 pizzas for ard 220SEK.. we had the pizzas for 3 meals! Actually tot that there wil b free delivery when we ordered for >200SEK.. but who knows the delivery boy went back dy cos it's too late dy (we ordered at 11.30pm), so we had to go n collect it ourselves!

2nd day -- trip to ice hotel + snow mobile.. a pic taken in front of ice-hotel n ice-church (ice-church at the left hand side, ice-hotel right hand side)... c.. we were so so so short plus fat!

Snow mobile was v hard to drive.. muscleache after driving that! was v scary though! Had a snow mobile accident which was super scary! Luckily it's not either 1 out of 5 of us who was being hit.. thanks goodness! Cos we went for snow mobile wif another 9 ppl, total of 14 ppl.. n we stopped by at ice-hotel.. when it was time to get off to another place for ice-fishing, the guide restarted the engine, n he was trying to heat it up, n press the accelerate "button", the snow mobile really accelerated in a super fast pace, n hit two girls... n a bunch of them were standing in front of the snow mobile, but still in a distance.. so unlucky that the 2 girls were being hit.. but luckily, there wasn't any broken bones or wat, jus that both of them felt painful at the back.. The petrol was frozen cos of the cold weather, that makes the snow mobile a bit abnormal dy.. n fly off without being able to be controlled.. the guide himself was also being pulled along wif the snow mobile... till a distance n it stopped.. the guide was super scared too i know, cos he hit ppl.. n if any thing happened to both the girls, then he wil b in big trouble too! Super scary! i was standing at the back of the snow mobile which the guide was starting it up, wif mun, n we saw the whole incident..." i tot wat happened to the guide, drove the snow mobile to hit ppl.. tot he cheesin or wat..." -- damn unforgettable la! Was later quite scared of driving snow mobile dy, shaky hands.... sharon was standing somewhere near the 2 girls..

Ok. Don talk abt the sadness dy! Still, ice-hotel is somewat small... not of wat i tot.. but it's special.. i almost break an ice-glass.. but luckily i still can hold it well!

3rd day -- skiing -- super fun! I love this activity the most! cos the skiing area is so so beautiful, n so refreshing.. n ski is really fun.. skiing down the slope, ski round the track! Neno fell down thousands times n now she is superb in standing back up! n i only fell down twice or thrice? - once is cos of the deep snow which makes me stucked inside the snow n i can't move... then another time is cos of the slope, where i can't stop myself, then i hv to fall down to one side... Later on have to walk back up the hills... so tiring.. but luckily the tutor was so nice, she helped us to carry our stick, n we jus carry our own board.. we followed the dog sledge track to walk back up the hill, n the track was jus full of shits n pees... u can c a big rocky ice yellowish in colour - yea, that's the pee...

Greeting from Stockholm

Status: Currently in Stockholm, City Backpacker, using the free internet connection.. Hellö everyöne!!

Now is 5.04pm time in sweden, 4.04pm in glasgow, 12.o4am in malaysia..

Why m i here in hostel? It´s snowing outside n it´s really super cold. We were out to Skansen this morning, but as the whole place was covered wif snow, animals were hibernating, n everything was closed! The place is something like an outdoor muzeum of sweden, wif everything.. cultures, Scandinavian animals, n bla bla bla- din manage to finish visiting the whole place, cos it's jus freezing cold! At last, get into a restaurant to have our lunch at ard 1.30pm.. n later came back hostel..

Gonna b back in glasgow tmr!!! yea... m really tiring for the past few days..

Life in kiruna was awesome! I really love the snow there!! it´s so nice, smooth,-- n it´s snow flakes... n it´s 1.2m deep! wow! really love it to the max! Everywhere in Stockholm is also covered with snow now! But it´s just too dirty... will show u guys the differences btw the snow in kiruna n stockholm when i m back in glasgow!!

p/s.. unpredictable, the thing u asked me to get for u.. i can´t find it! cos it´s winter n everywhere is snow ... not autumn!! håhä.....

Wow, reading my blog? are u so free? finish doing pharm care essays? hehe.. yea, i did. I finally finish my essays after weeks.. but actually spend 2 days on 1 essay is actually sufficient provided you got at least know your case and find some pharmaco n disease background info. Yesterday was so stress, and this triggered me to finish my essay fast! I m those who only do things fast when there's something tat push me forward, n will never do and slack around during other times. Thanks for the stress yesterday. Now, wanna finalise everything, but i m doing it slow, cos no stress dy!



18 more hours to go to stockholm.. one more day to be in Kiruna!!

Nian 30 - reunion dinner

Wow. now is 4.40am! can u imagine till now i also haven't sleep!!!

Jus had a steamboat dinner with the gang, at their house! Was so busy eating n 3 8 thoughtout the whole nite! really super funny! n it's extremely fun!

Steamboat dinner - the normal food such as fishballs, fishcakes, prawn, vege, variety of mushrooms, hotdogs, crabstick n mee! Had chicken soup base only, n no tom yam soup base! But we can actually smell tom yam smell.. that's the smell from downstairs! Spent hours having the dinner, n after that, start to do wat ppl always do during cny! yea, that's - gambling! haha.. but don ever tell u guys how much did we gamble for! erm, in d end, i also not v sure how much did i lose! and out of 11 of us, 5 each had a vodka drink! n then highlights of the day - yinting's kuih kapek n pineapple tart (or called pineapple biscuits?).. yea, she brought from malaysia!! that's so good! thanks to her!! n to have more of cny atmosphere, cny songs is a must! so, we had some songs listening hours.. we realli made a lot of noise, but not sure if other ppl heard it or not! another highlight, crysanthemum tea by kimberly, that's nice! n also sunflower seed, n also dunno wat biscuits supplied by her too! so nice! so many nice food!!! thanks~~n till now, i m still v v v v full.. really can't sleep.. n another reason is that played till v v high dy! so cannot sleep... haha...

jus back from their house at ard 4am... n when we passed by block F, it seems like everyone is sleeping! wow, sleep so early?? haha.. can't really heard of any noise too!

看到journal,就想吐血!

真想吃我妈妈煮的除夕团圆菜肴！有发菜蘑菇鸡，炒蒜，鱼翅汤！所谓发菜，就是要发财。蒜，吃了数学很好。鱼，年年有余。Eh, 就只有三样菜肴吗? 一年才煮一次的我超爱吃的菜，就只有等到明年才吃吧！汤圆，我也爱！

I am not very free actually! Jus got stucked with the essay, and i really wanna vomit blood already! What the so so hard n complicated essays that i need to write!?? left 4 days to finish both!! gotta speed up!!

Today, 7.50am woke up n don't really feel that it's monday! When my alarm rang, i thought that today is sunday, and thinking of continue sleeping. But suddenly recall, i won't put alarm on sunday one oh! So, quickly, look at my phone, it shows 7.50am, n then, now i know i have to go to Glasgow Uni. Felt so reluctant to get my butt there! Really really really don wan la!!

No choice, but have to go also! A lot of ppl absent from class today, n my grp members, 4 absent, n come a new member today, who i think he has been absent for the past 3 tutorials. A medic student which is a guy, and he is very nice! Very nice to have discussion with him *though i din really pair up with him*. Cause today only 4 of us in one grp, then 1 have to do a question by myself... Then end up today we have to present 2 questions, but luckily i chose the correct question to do, but still have to do the drug kardex.. I did the options of antihypertensive therapies for COPD pt wif hypertension, and i mistaken the pt's previous antihypertensive drug, which i tot is an atenolol, but later on, he said is combination drug, then only i found out that i miss up something from bnf. I just read half way, n ignored the other half... so c2pid la! Then it's atenolol n thiazide. Was previously tot that i can give the pt diuretic as it's a 1st line (cos i hv to gif the answer for antihypertensive drug), but then only noticed there's really something wrong which i really dunno which drug shud i gif then. Was so so so dunno what's the answer, n another member who was writing the drug kardex (pharm student) kept on urging me to gif her a drug, but i just duno which one la! Luckily the medic student is so nice! He kept on flipping through his medical dict, n kept on thinking of which drug to gif.... he is v knowledgable, i can say. And he is very concentrate while the lecturers r talking. And then after some *discussion* wif him using text (cos ppl r presenting but we stil haven't finish our slides), he told me CCB. Yea, the lecturer's answer to this ques is also CCB! haha.. Erm, today, i myself din pay much attention, cause there's just too many words in each n every slides n i kept on copying, but stil can't finish copy. Oh ya, conclusion is, i found out that guy medic student is really different from a girl medic student! Girl medic student really doesn't hv those "Shang Jing Xin".. they won't care much and always say it's a waste of time, but this guy medic student i met doesn't feel so, instead he thinks that it's v interesting? cos he asked us if we all will b attending the tutorials next wk n say see u guys next wk lo! haha.. not bad not bad!! oh, btw, for me, i also think it's a waste of time.. haha.. so i also don hv shang jing xin la....

Went M&S to buy something after back from GU. The cashier asked me if i m ok.. i say yes. Then she gif me back my change that time, she asked me again: R u really ok? I say thank you.. haha. cos i heard she say thank you.. but after 1 min of lagging time, i then knew that she actually asked me r u really ok?.. hmm.. m i really not ok? Do i look v pale today? Mayb din eat breakfast gua.. n slept not enough... Erm, reason of not eating breakfast is cause the day b4 ate too much. We had our dinner for free yest nite.. at a pub n restaurant cos we got the free vouchers. We din even spend one single pence.. haha.. but then the food r jus like that: beef burger.. chose the wrong dish la... shud hv chosen the spicy bean burger.. now.. suddenly feel that i hate beef burger so much la! Must restrict myself from eating anymore beef burger from now onwards.. no more beef burgers!!

Oh, CNY coming.. this sunday! Gotta have reunion dinner wif my hsemates, plus E9 F10 ppl.. planning for steamboat + gambling + drinking! hope it will be wonderful!! can't wait for that day to come!!

Post exam

Class test ended 7 hours ago! And after the test, there was a feedback session straight away! I don like that feedback session la, make me not happy only! haih. better choose not to know the answer rather than knowing how many mistakes u did! erm, shud i say, not not knowing the answer, shud b don b so straight away la! Though it's still fresh in our mind, but i just don't like it! Hmmm.. personal view!

Ok. The class test sssssseeeemmsss to b v easy as everyone left so early from the examination hall! An hour class test ended at 10am, n u can notice that the ppl who stayed back till the last minute were mostly IMU students!! Ang mos left so early! Is it just so so easy for them? think is a YES. Seemms to b easy, but it's actually not that easy! Sometimes, when u don't think that much, people will still eventually lead u to think that much!! Erm, as if like wat was discussed was correct for u, but after feedback, ppl wil start discussing with the lecturers, n then another answer pop out! So, another answer shud b correct? or the answer given by the lecturer earlier on? But that's a good action too, to get to know the correct answer to the ques! Ok.

Hmmm.. been busy watching my last epi of BOL n also youtubing since just now! Got nothing to watch but i still can find something to watch! haha!! too bored? not actually.. jus don feel like doing other things!! Later going for dinner at Asian Style Restaurant (m i rite?), where a lot of our batchmates hv been there for dozen of times, but it will only b my second visit there, n mel n lm's 1st visit!! hahaha.. today going there wif the gang to have birthday dinner wif SHIN JENG, the yesterday's birthday girl!! haha :)

Last thursday, went to Ceilidh dance night - Scottish dance, organised by RPSGB n SIPBS. It's an event that we need to pay for it, so when we were there, we grabbed every chance to play around, dance around, among ourselves n with the girls [cos we don hv a guy partner :( ] .. Photo above: the gang! We went everywhere as a whole big gang! When someone suggested to go for this event, then the whole gang will b going! That's good! n then this Ceilidh - i have only two words to describe -- SUPER FUN!

It has been a long time ever since i go for the dance class. Btw, last sem, i went to join the dance club for few times, but that's not so fun though. The Ceilidh is super fun man!! can't describe the fun! mayb it has been a long time ever since i can b so relax, playing around without thinking more!! Love fooling ard to the max, or can i say i love dancing!! hahaha :)... know wat, i was so dizzy that night, being spinned n swing for so many many times! The guy that partner wif me once (n another time accidentally partnered wif him again) was so ganas.. he spinned me till so fast as if i m so light to be spinned.. no resistance? (haha).. he pulled me so fast as if we were rushing for something or compete for F1... haiyoyo.. he's real ganas!! but i enjoyed that too.. we will never have this kind of dancing (or can i say playing) moments so often dy! Love the dance with the whole bunch of people, n don really like those couple-dance. Cause whole bunch of ppl dancing is more like playing!! All r like small kids la, play non-stop! Btw, someone (or some-two) in our gang kena invited out by the guys so often!! n can i say "that guy" really dunno how to dance!! he was more like a robot or robot operator than a dancer! hmmm, i din specify who oh.. but u know who i know who la (direct to my gang)! but it's not P104 guys la. Btw, p104 guys can dance oh!!

hahahahahahahahhahaa..... enjoy Ceilidh to the max!!!!!!!!! luckily i went, if not, i will b regret again, [cos i missed the edinburgh santa run, n that one, i will never hv to chance to get the medal anymore! haha :)]
