Research

Today, had the electronic assessment on professional update. Didn't ever think that they set such questions, asking on how many millions n so. Luckily everything was in the lecture slides i printed out.. or mayb jus 1 or 2 questions not in it.. n was spending my time searching for the answers from the slides. Was happy when i finished my assessment n found out that i got more than 70% ---> meaning pass. That's good. Finished at around 3.42pm, started ard somewat 3.10pm. The fastest to finish the assessment was william, n then jaymie! Wow, they r fast!

Ok. A lot to do recently but i can't feel that i need to do all the things! Stucked wif discussion of research project again n wanna help from CD. Help!!! Guess everyone in my group had passed up their discussion, but why i still so slow n din even bother much on deadlines or so? Erm, actually no deadline was set, so i really din try my best to finish it fast! Instead, i was watching Grey's Anatomy n my hk new drama series! I must b fast actually!!

Ok. Some pics for my research team! We r the Grp 30 ppl, me, yunmin, christine, Beveryly n Faim. Our supervisor is CD, Christine D, n not Controlled Drug. We always call her CD, but we were nt referring to controlled drug.. haha.. She is nice, n cos she is still a new lecturer, she got no PhD students to lead us for research project, thus, she got to do all the leading job. (But now i guess she got some PhD students dy). Btw, while leading us, she was also having the whole research as her research, n she will so gonna write a journal on the experiments we done in vitro, with more of the works that she is going to do in vivo, combining all the results n write a journal. She always so excited when she got the chance to publish our "good" results (she claimed) and hopefully into a good journal which she wishes for it so much, with all our names in it! wakakaka.. never expect that one day my name will appear in any of the journal in a pharmaceutical journal. Ok. Not going to say much on my research project, cause it's "confidential"...


A pic of all of us! Me n YM looks like CD's tangan kiri n kanan. Photo taken in tissue culture lab, where we spent most of our time there, seeding the 96-well-plates. Imagine we need to put 0.2ml medium into each well (96wells) using micropipettes, n we need to do at least 10 plates per person --> meaning 960 times of the same action in several hours. But luckily we do not need to seed the plates everyday, jus for 3 days. While transferring the 0.2ml into the well, the another hand of us have to shake the bottle of content.. hmmm..

We, the drug delivery """scientists"""" ... Amy's group was also doing drug delivery topic, at tissue culture lab too. We will meet them everyday.. but we were in another room in tissue culture lab... n they were outside of our room. They r all the imu ppl, 6 of them, in one grp.
